Drawdown – What Is It & How Does It Affect Me?

Simply put, drawdown is the total percentage loss that a trading robot/strategy experiences before it starts winning again. Drawdown is measured by looking back over the trading history of a robot.

Some Forex Robots have a drawdown of 40%. 40%! That means that they can lose 40% of your money before they starting making you a profit again. That’s really risky.
